AZ4NORML Monthly Meeting this Saturday, May 11th, @ 3pm

Join medical marijuana patients, advocates, caregivers, dispensary professionals and the public as we hold the meeting of AZ4NORML. FREE and open to the public, all are welcome. Meeting will be held this Saturday,May 11th at 3PM at the Ward 6 Council Office in Tucson. The office is located at 3202 E. 1st Street, 1 block East of Country Club Rd, and 1 block South of Speedway Blvd. See you there!

4/20 Celebration Announcement

Happy Holiday,

4/20 is upon us again and we encourage all our members to come out to Tumbleweeds Health Center, 5301 Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85711. 12pm-6pm. Saturday April 20th 2013. There will be live music, information booths, vendors, food and our signature Cures not Wars, Marijuana March & Rally.

2013′s Festival of Education starts at 10am, at Tumbleweeds Health Center, 5301 Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85711. The Rally will begin at 1pm and at 3pm the March will head west to Rosemont crossing Broadway Blvd. then will turn East, and crossing Craycroft Ave., march to Park Mall crossing Broadway Blvd. again turning west, crossing Craycroft Ave, again and returning to Tumbleweeds Health Center, the circular nature of the march allows anyone who is unable to complete the planned route to participate can conveniently begin or end at their own discretion. (See map.) Signs will be provided or bring your own! Don’t forget your hat and a bottle of water, sunscreen is advised.

A continuous stationary rally will start at 12noon and continue till 5pm out in front of the 4/20 event at Tumbleweeds. This will allow our non-mobile patients to participate.

Parking is limited, It is advised that attendees and volunteers park their cars at the 20/30 Park or in the Hiland Vista neighborhood behind Tumbleweeds Health Center, there is Target and other businesses nearby but don’t expect them to let us use their parking. (See map.)

As always, our event honors Dana Beal founder of Cures Not Wars. The rallies and parades, celebrated worldwide every year, are based on and run in solidarity with the first legalization parade rally ever, the New York City Cannabis Parade.

Our friends at Go Green Packaging Plus (Packaging and accessories for the Southern Arizona Medical Marijuana Community) are having their grand opening this Saturday, December 01st in Tucson!! Medical Marijuana Protest Tomorrow!!!

Attention Southern Arizona Activists! Medical marijuana protest in Tucson tomorrow, Thursday, Sept 20th at 4PM. In conjunction with Americans for Safe Access, Camp WakeupObama, and AZ4NORML we will be protesting the City of Tucson attack on patients, caregivers, providers, and activists! Join us at Obama Tucson HQ at 4639 E. 1st St. Tucson, AZ 85711 at 4:20 we march to the nearby intersection of Speedway Blvd and Swan Rd. Signs will be provided, bring your own sign too, some water and a hat! See you there!

The Caravan for Peace and Justice comes to Tucson!

The caravan for peace and justice has begun travelling around the country and will be stopping in Tucson to bring attention to the war on drugs and drug war survivors!  Please join the caravan and show support from Southern Arizona.  Here is the schedule, please attend and invite your friends and co-workers.
